Default Can't get in?!?!?!?!
Hey guys,

just back in from my car (2002 A8 V6 QS) and 3 of the doors wont open. When I lift the handle nothing happens! As I got in the rear passengers door I tried opening them all from the inside.....................yip they all opened! On starting the car it was showing -2 outside temp so I'm guessing these cars suffer from frozen lock/handle syndrome like the Mk3 VW Golf?????

The problem is once they open they often won't close

Our a6 is majorly effected at the moment - open a door when its cold and you won't know if it'll close or not till you try! Had to leave a door ajar the other morning until the lock de-iced from the interior heater

Strip the locks and re-grease them, pain in the neck but it will keep them working in the frost
