Default Stuck in the snow

I also got stuck in the snow on purpose I've got snow tyres fitted but they are no good when you ground yourself. Jumped out with it still in drive to see what the wheels where doing here's the vid. Cheers Dave

I guess your tyres are not very good or ESP/EDL not working. When I had C4 A6 with brand new Goodyear winter tyres it was ploughing through snow with snow coming up on bonnet.

Hi no the tyres are good Dunlop winter and Michelin winter I got it stuck on PURPOSE to see the EDL working! but I mustn't work at Tickover in first gear and and I couldn't give it any gas as I was on my own. Yes the snow is not deep but was more ice than fresh snow with ice underneath. And on PURPOSE beached it on a drift and stabbed the throttle with steering lock on to dig 4 holes aiming up the small slope. I've managed to drive around for 4 hours playing in the snow in the Peak District without getting stuck with all the land rovers.
The EDL was working all morning. I didn't have to dig it out just reverse.

So educate me, why is one wheel per axle spinning? Does the car not have a diff to share the load?

That's how the Torsen works until the EDL kicks in.
