Maybe we could have a xmas drain clearing session - i have Brians copper pipe for the scuttle drain problem though I am not convinced that i have done it properly as I didnt have a proper compressor/air supply. I did recently clear the aircon drains tho' and the front wing drains.

Norretal - let us know when you dates for a visit up here and we'll see if we can get a miniu meet organised up here. I'm not planning to go down to Staffordshire for the 'official' Xmas meet as it's just too far in the holiday season (we do a big family Xmas) on roads that are likely to be very busy.

So, once we have a date, and thoughts on a venue? A big car park and an eatery with beer is required, I think.

Well if you had all told me that you wanted to organise a seperate scottish meet before I spent time setting it all up then I'd have arranged it further south!
The whole point if locating it in stoke was to be as central to the UK as possible to get everyone together!!
Meh!!

Well, I didn't expect to start anything but if there is some interest I'm definitely keen to meet some of you enthusiasts if I do venture up. I'm working between Christmas and New Year so if I do arrange to come up it'll be a drive up on the evening of the Friday (28th) and drive back down on the Sunday evening so I'm sure we could arrange something for the Saturday or Sunday, though if the weather is decent (wishful thinking I know!) I'd normally be attempting to play golf on the Sunday morning.

So, that'll definitely be the weekend I'd be potentially up in Blantyre, so if it suits anyone else it'd be great to get together, even for just an hour or two, to say hello and put faces to the names.

I'll certainly make sure I mention it on here if I'm heading up

Oops, sorry Neil. I'd already spoken to Brian and David to say it was too far and the wrong time of year for me, before the opportunity came with news of Norretal's visit up here. I'll withdraw the suggestion.
