My other motor.
1966 UK Devon Walk through VW Split screen.

Exhaust that is still a bit on the loud side but way better then the old one.

Getting some work done to lower it to the deck.

As it stood after the lowering job.

I can say that it has been raised about 2", this due to the trip we had through Ireland last year. The roads are not made for low vehicles !!!!
Must have cracked the underside 15-20 times.
Although it's still low, it has improved the way it drives, it was quite shocking how bad it was before the new suspension went in.
Still, it's not built to go fast

Good for crusing and over night stays anywhere

The paint job? It was one of 5 that Virgin radio got hold of 14 or so years ago, sent them to a small garage to fit them out and paint. All this for a Budwiser prize give away promotion.
Made for an interesting drive through Belfast last year as we drove off the ferry. We only had people shouting 'things' at us twice!
Still, could have been worse.

An 02 Suzuki Wagon R with 20k miles as our shopping trolley/van. Inherited (literally) from our sister in law and bought on my reccommendation by her. I should have known it would come back to haunt me . It's so light that I actually enjoy driving it with enthusiasm. I am a pervert obviously.

I only regret selling a couple of bikes, a 98 R1 and my 02 GSXR750. Only ever sold three cars. The rest were scrapped or write offs. This goes some way to explaining the insurance companies approach to me, though getting married and having wifey on policy helps .
