LPG smell
Hello,
My d2 has a gas conversion. I bought the car like this and sometimes when it first kicks on to gas after I haven't driven it for a day you can smell gas in the cabin for about a minute if the heather blowers are on. Also in the boot where the 90l tank sits there is a constant faint smell of gas. I have never had an lpg car before so don't know if this is normal or not? If I take it to an lpg place and ask for a service what will they replace? Just the filter?

It's not normal to smell gas. Get it serviced. Don't go looking for leeks with a naked flame; it's not advisable!

LPG smell and service
I ve only had it when I just filled
up...a faint smell coming through to passenger cabin...but it's due a service so will book it in also.... I know of a chap in redditch who is meant to be really good...so anyone who needs it done let me know...

I had it serviced today buy a guy near by. He knew his stuff, we replaced both filters and fixed 3 little leaks, he also checked the fuel trims which where +\-20% due to a leaking hose tail, it's all fixed now and down to almost ~0% at idle.
he couldn't adjust the LPG map as the dream system wouldn't connect to the laptop, otherwise ok..
