Change of plan; we'll be driving straight up from home on Friday - M40, M42, M6 toll, etc. - all 450 miles of it.

Last time we did that we made an early start (5:30 ish) and even with a leisurely breakfast at Annandale Water arrived at Cairndow bang on midday for lunch at the Loch Fyne Oyster Bar.

I like the programme, great stuff guys

And it's official, after having suspension done this morning together with a gearbox service I'm confident enough to put my name on the list of people coming this year, 100%.

All whats left is few hours of cleaning, well more then few, and I'll be ready to departure on Friday morning together with Ollie most likely

Default Sorry guys

Really sorry for the short notice guys but I'm going to have to duck out of this one due to a death in the family. I'm not in an 8 (at the moment) so was only attending as "a support vehicle" but still sad I can't make it this year as I've missed every Annual Meet since I have had an 8

Have a great weekend, take care, and please post lots of pics of the event

On the plus side, if anyone wants a twin room ensuite at the Tyndrum Inn, there's one going. If so, please let me know so we can arrange the change of name.

Sorry to hear your bad news Clive. Funnily enough I've just a few minutes ago emailed Tyndrum to adjust our booking as we'll only be there 2 nights not 3 (i.e. not Sunday).
As we were pretty much the last one booked in we had a room change scheduled between Friday and Saturday and I've asked if that can now be avoided.
I guess with your cancellation that may be done, so if anyone does want to pick up the now spare room be prepared for a possible room move if you want 2 nights.

Though when I spoke to them it did seem as if they might be running some sort of "reserve list" as it's such a busy weekend, so there may already be people in the queue.

I think they're getting married! But don't tell anyone. It's all those years of staying away together whilst organising the annumal meets.
