The audi fluid is p/n G004000M2, which according to Pentosin is the same as CHF202 (data sheet here http://www.pentosin.net/specsheets/pentosin_chf_202.pdf)
But CHF11s is not the same as 202, and commas data sheet states that this is equivalent to the old G002 oil (https://s3-eu-west-1.amazonaws.com/s...3y4wpB4BNjA%3D), so i wouldnt use it personally.

It was what came up on the halfords selector but knowing they are not the most reliable i am holding off. May pop into the stealers and see what the have or tps.

Just had another look and the fluid smells a bit burnt and brown, might be worth doing a fluid change. Is it worth taking to the dealers or just do it myself ?

If you have no dealer around you then one of the audi dealers sells genuine fluid on ebay, around £11 per bottle.
You will need 2L, after approx. 1.5L of bleeding/flushing you will see fresh fluid coming thru. Fog light grill off, disconnect the second hose (one behind) and start pumping new oil in and old out by turning ignition on and off straight away with top ups in between. Really simple to do. Make sure when you finish oil level is approx. 2mm above MIN mark as per manual in this thread. http://forum.a8parts.co.uk/showpost....0&postcount=37

That will teach me. Topped up tonight and now see your post 2mm above minimum! Probably didnt need topping up anyway 😣 i didnt realise it was like the auto boxes with different levels depending on temperature. Would over filling be a problem ?

I suppose you could end up with too much pressure in the system which could cause the seals to fail.

Don't worry the excess will be expelled via the air vent hole. Just hope it won't happen in a corner or somewhere motorcycles drive
