Default Wanted: S8 D2 Brembo front calipers

Hi guys,

I'm after a pair of good condition front 4 pot calipers. Mine are black with 2 brake pads, not the 4 pads style. Think they're Brembo calipers?

Cheers.

Dan

You’re after these https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/OEM-Audi-...0AAOSw5wJb6sOg

They do come up on eBay in the Uk from time to time but normally get picked up pretty quickly.

Those are the ones. I thought they might, they seem to be fairly rare?
Or if someone could rebuild mine and sort the corrosion out under the brake pad plates, that would be great.

Contacting Big Redd tomorrow.

Cheers,

Dan

Bigg Red, ironically, can't do the Brembo 4 pots, despite them being derived from Porsche Big Reds

There are a couple of threads on the forums about where to get these rebuilt IIRC. There's one company who is particularly good at them but I don't recall the name. If you have a search on 'brembo' the threads might turn up

I had mine done for that exact reason by Pro Calipers (also known as Addiction Motosport) in East London about 6 months ago. One of my favourite bits on the car now.

If you’re not close by he does offer a postal service too.

I think these are THE guys for our calipers. David or Mark should confirm the name soon. There’s also an outfit in Nottingham called Brake Caliper Specialists (BCS) - do NOT go there; I did, twice and suffered from VERY poor workmanship.

Yep Pro-Calipers/Addiction Motorsport.

Very small outfit I think (possibly a one-man-band) but they/he (Thomas) seems to do excellent job. Cosmetically at least, my old calipers certainly appeared to be very thoroughly refurbished. Mechanically I can't comment because I haven't fitted them but Jim has. Are they working ok now Jim?

Bigg Red have quoted £385 Inc vat plus £10 p&p. I had provided part numbers and it would appear they are able to do them.

I've contacted Pro-Calipers, seems like they are the guys we will be using. They were very knowledgeable.

Thanks for all of the above input.

Regards,

Dan

That's handy to know - last time I asked they couldn't do Brembos. Hell of a price though

Please report back on results from Pro-Calipers
