Love the Sierra Sapphire RS Cosworth, more in 4x4 guise.

Sierra Cossie. Cool cool cool. The first production car to get over 100 bhp per litre I think. Totally affordable, serviceable and sadly nickable.
Wasn't the engine the old cast iron Pinto unit as used in so many Fords over its long life.

I'm afraid I find the Scorpio, as in the 5 door thing, a total embarrassment on Fords in general. How can you say they drove OK. My experience was of a car that might make the first corner, just, but had no chance with the next. Plastic, shi*ty and so deeply ugly. (rant over)

Sierra Cossies. Yay and the more original the better

Definitely an uncool car to the masses, but I would have loved one...
I owned one for a couple of years. A 1989 2.9i with heated and electric everything. I really liked it and it was quite rare with the 4x4.

Nearly stuffed it into the scenery coming over the Cat and Fiddle one time.

The 4 wheel drive never felt quite as sorted as the quattro system.

Anyway, back to the Cossie,

Almost as cool as the 'UR'. Anyone who makes a 4 door family saloon go that fast is OK in my book.

I love fast Fords.
