2007 a8 4.2 fsi suspension problem
HELLO EVERYONE. RE MY SUSPENSION PROBLEM !!. Had my car checked today by a auto electrician. Fuses all good, Relay fine, Done a live test to Compressor burst into life, but that is far as he could go. Went to a VW specialist who has a VCDS and it came back with the following. 1 FAULT FOUND 013997- VENTING SOLENOID FOR LEVEL CONTROL (N111) 009 OPEN OR SHORT TO GROUND. MY QUESTION. Is this on the Compressor or Valve Block?? really could do with some help please or if anyone knows good independent who can fix my problem without taking my eyes out it would be helpful. On a seperate note I have been to SILVERLINK AUDI NEWCASTLE TODAY WITH MY POWER STEERING PUMP ISSUE . Bought a power steering pump from TPS last month £1150 (BVJ ENGINE WITH THE SHAFT AT THE BACK OF THE ENGINE)and it started whineing again rang TPS who instructed to take it to nearest Audi dealer who would have to do the job. They told me it would be a week before I could get my fault diagnosed as they would have to do various checks after i told them I use my car for work and there would not be a pump available in the Uk (last one took 2 weeks) I was NOT prepared to wait 3 weeks to get my job done. The workshop manager came out to inspect my car with the engine running took off the reservoir and said to me thats your problem to much fluid in. I said to him you check the fluid with the engine off which when checked was on the MAX mark. Well it could be the rack or the pressure values wrong so it will still have to come in to be checked. you will have to leave it most of the day for this to be done. NO FAITH WHATSOEVER. I love my 8 but is trying my patience to the limit ANY IDEAS WOULD BE APPRECIATED
