Default Dolomite Sprint

As i was growing up i had a passion for fast cars and this had to be one of my favourites. It was the first 16v engine car and in 1974 this was just amazing.
The first one i bought was not until 1985 and i loved every minute of driving her. I used to just drive for hours and hours looking for a race with an XR2 or XR3 just so i could leave them standing in my 10 year old dolomite and some of the best races i ever had was with escort rs turbo's

Just wish i still had one

You haven't put up a poll.......

Now I loved the Sprint, though had an 1850HL (less obvious and nearly as fast) as posted earlier, but I'm not totally sure whether it's cool because it was rather the M3 of its day so too many owners had it for the wrong reasons and didn't know how to use it properly (not you, obviously).

PS Bought mine brand new, built to my spec, in 1976. Serious money in those days (1 years average wage apparently, and basic rate tax at 35%).

Where's the poll???

Dolly was deffo a fun car and yes 16v, and overdrive switch on top the gear knob? But it's not cool..... or is it now, maybe it is the more i think about it, it could be. This game is getting hard.

Probably just as well there's no poll i'm undecided.
