Default Detailing week at MJ's - pic dump

Hey all,

This week Owain from Mad About Detailing has been over at the workshop doing a multi-stage machine polish on mine and Mike's S8s, finishing off with two coats of our respective favourite waxes. Its been an absolute pleasure working with Owain who also spent some time teaching me basic machine-polishing skills so he went round mine with the rotary and I followed with the DA.

As you all know from the 'What's in the workshop' threads, I take some care detailing the engine bay, and sometimes the undercarriage Now I can also offer paintwork detailing and correction care of Owain to add the final touches to a mechanical makeover

I didn't take many pics during the process since I was learning new skills, but I got a few shots of the result. I think these speak for themselves:

Did mine today as at a car show tomorrow (Blackpool car show - mine will be on the promenade) but took no pics.
Used Poorboys Wax and does a cracking job

Excellent set of pictures, and I must say both cars look immaculate.

Dolphin Grey looks very nice in the sun.

It’s gonna be easy to judge the D2s at next year’s meet - if the car hasn’t been to MJ, it’s not in the running!
