Default FL LED tail lights

Just a quick one, can you easily remove pcb with all the leds on the latests FL tail lights??
I'm working on swing indicators like on the new A8s and Q7s for example, but I do have doubts after realizing that indicator strip is really short on our 8's so it ay not look as cool as on newer models.

When I fitted mine, it looked like it was a sealed unit apart from aperture for the fog and reversing bulbs. It also looks like Audi moved to LED strips around 2008...

Easiest thing to do is whip off the 2x 10mm nuts on the outer lamp and swing it out. It would only take 5 mins if you don't drop the nuts into the darkest depths of the bodyshell.

I too thought the same thing Marcin but the units sealed, doesn't mean it's impossible but certainly not easy

It's amazing how tastes change, right?

Seeing the Ford Mustang in USA, on which three lights flash in turn while indicating, so many people said it was a cheap and nasty bit of automotive theatre. Had we, at the time, fitted something similar to our own cars, we would have been called all manner of names and people would have made KITT jokes at our cars.

Fast forward a few years, and Audi does the same thing with LEDs and we're all wowing at the effect!

(for the record, I'd like to point out that I'm not immune to the charms of the swinging indicator and would like one myself)

In 1958 when I was first posted to Germany we had big Magirus Deutsche trucks and they had swinging indicators, but they were semaphore arms with a light on the end. They operated fully electrically, whilst our British manufactured wagons had an arm that was pulled out with a mechanical linkage from a lever in the cab.
Then we had to remove these semaphore trafficators and fit flashing indicators.
