Default "Rubber" seal between headlight and wing.

Today I noticed some damage to the sealing strip between the outer section (sidelight area) of the headlight unit and wing panel. Along the top edge, just outboard of the bonnet.

Part of the seal (an inch or so) has gone and the adjacent section appears to be coming loose.

Is this easy to replace, even available? Or would you just try and sort it out with careful application of black silicone sealant?

2003 D2 FL S8. Irish Green Pearl/Beige. Solar sunroof, auto-dim mirrors, electric rear seat functions, ski hatch retrofit; extended leather. Aftermarket DVB-T, reversing camera and full XCarlink (Bluetooth etc.).
2016 Volvo V40 T5 Cross Country (4WD) with ALL the toys including adaptive cruise etc. etc. Osmium Grey with Blonde/Charcoal leather interior. Polestar performance "optimisation". (A much rarer model than a D2 S8 by the way!) Oh, and a brand new engine at just under 30,000 miles on the factory one!
Finally: gone, but not forgotten.....
1998 D2 PF S8. AgateGrey/Platinum. Every option (I think) except electric rear seats, tiptronic steering wheel, ski hatch, towbar & dimming door mirrors.
e.g. Cruise control, NavPlus/TV, Bose, GSM, Xenons, Solar roof, Parking sensors, Alcantara/leather everywhere of course. (internal dimming mirror added later)
1998 (very early) Ford Focus 1.8 Zetec; ABS/TCS, Heated screen/mirrors, Aircon, Auto-dim mirror, Leather, Trip computer, Cruise control, OEM Ford SatNav with CD changer.
And before that a lot of Rover 800s, a few oddities, a lovely Triumph Dolomite 1850HL with Overdrive and way back in my schooldays an Austin Seven aka Mini 850!

That's a standard feature on most of them these days unfortunately Its simple enough to change with the headlight out, but NLA from Audi.

Part numbers are 4D0941191A (left) and 4D0941192A (right) in case you can find anywhere. I haven't tried Tradition.

I would leave it alone rather than trying to silicone it. I think that would make more mess and look worse.

Thanks for the part numbers MJ.

€40.90 at Tradition, if only you could buy there.....

€45.76 plus shipping (€17.40) from Logistikzentrum-Lehrte so over £55. Plus maybe a handling charge if they have to go to Tradition.

Well at least they still exist. Is that price for both?

That was just price for left, which is what I might need. Right is 2 cents less.

Damn. £110 is a bit steep for two bits of rubber Tricky to print something like that though.
