Question VDO fuel pump - is this the only place to get it?

Hi all,
I hope you are all well.
I want to get a VDO fuel pump to replace it preventatively.
I was looking through old posts and found this link, is this the only place to get the genuine Seimens pump? From the States?

https://www.ebay.co.uk/c/1762131396

Thanks

I got mine via AUTODOC. on internet
Article Nos was V10-09-0844 Fuel Pump
Commodity code was 84133020
Price was £172.80 plus VAT = £211.32
This was back in Oct 2018
They sometimes have good discounts, so if its not urgent, wait for a promotion.
I needed mine as it totally failed at Audi Driver International at Castle Coombe.
I remember being piggy backed home by truck.
You need someone who knows how to fit these correctly, as they can stop working when tank is half full, as it thinks it is empty, due to incorrect fitting.

Hope this helps, Good Luck.

Thanks Mikki! That's great!
I'll probably have a go at fitting it myself.

You will also need two new sealing washers for the pressure hose banjo fitting as they can't be re-used. N 013 812 8, 12x15.5mm. 12mm copper washers will do the job if you can't get hold of the proper ones.

Should I try to find one of those fuel pump seal kits?
I found a few links in an old thread, maybe its still available?

I wouldn't bother tbh. Our fuel is such that the rubber seals don't tend to deteriorate like US cars do.

Thanks, that's great!
Should I get some rubber rejuvenation stuff to soften the rubber seal a bit?
I have some ester type engine oil (Fuchs Titan) maybe it will help?
