Default Genuine audi windshield sun shade from another model on a D2?

Has anyone used a genuine audi windshield sunshade from a different model on their D2? I'd like to buy a couple but not sure which other models would fit the d2.

I'm pretty sure there was an OEM d2-specific accessory at one point, but if it existed its surely now unobtainable. So, I'm looking for the next best option.

Any help appreciated!

Maybe I'm being a bit dumb, but what is it and where does it go and to do what?
Here in UK the windscreen is lightly tinted but has a much darker tint across the top.
Inside the car you have the sun blinds each side and the little flap that folds down in the middle behind the mirror; doesn't fill the gap entirely but it's pretty reasonable.

Finally: gone, but not forgotten.....
1998 D2 PF S8. AgateGrey/Platinum. Every option (I think) except electric rear seats, tiptronic steering wheel, ski hatch, towbar & dimming door mirrors.
e.g. Cruise control, NavPlus/TV, Bose, GSM, Xenons, Solar roof, Parking sensors, Alcantara/leather everywhere of course. (internal dimming mirror added later)
1998 (very early) Ford Focus 1.8 Zetec; ABS/TCS, Heated screen/mirrors, Aircon, Auto-dim mirror, Leather, Trip computer, Cruise control, OEM Ford SatNav with CD changer.
And before that a lot of Rover 800s, a few oddities, a lovely Triumph Dolomite 1850HL with Overdrive and way back in my schooldays an Austin Seven aka Mini 850!

I'm not aware of any sunshades from other models that could be applied, unless you're referring to one of those awful opaque strips applied to the outside of the windscreen.

Most windscreens I've seen on D2/D3s just have a tinted strip over the top 6 inches of the glass which helps reduce glare from a low sun, but it's the glass which is tinted rather than anything applied to the glass afterwards.

(My old D2 and D3 here, both with IR-reflective and heated windscreens, and you can see the tinted strip at the top of each).

That little flap behind the mirror is quite useful, and the main sun shades which pull down for each front occupant also slide out further which is useful for sun coming through the side window -- learnt that from watching a VW Phaeton review video.

Sorry, folks. Perhaps I didn't do a good job describing it .

I'm referring to the accessory you use to protect the interior from the sun. I've attached a few pics for reference. The rover is made for my chassis, the gold one is not specific to my Thunderbids, but fits almost perfectly. The BMW is from a later model SUV, since there was never one offered for the e31 chassis and it fits good enough.

That's what I'd like to get to protect the interior of the D2's. The 03 has a flimsy generic one that needs to be replaced. I'd like a good quality foldable piece like the ones in the pictures.

Covercraft makes sun shades that are specific to different cars that are nice. I've had one for a few different cars, including my Audi. They're nice. I would recommend them.

Have a look on Ebay.com for the seller 'ripplewear' - based in New England.
Makes blinds for camper vans etc and I'm sure she could make you something bespoke for the Audi.

I bought a full set of blinds for my VW camper and use them every time we are away in it. Good quality kit!

From memory it's Susan Emilio - met her and her husband in Florida a couple of years ago while on vacation.
