Default 2G MMI AMI USB gapless playback?

I think I know the answer, but I'll ask just in case...

Is there a way of eliminating the gap between songs in an album?

Gapless playback is not supported, the system reads each track one by one and does not read the next one until the track playing ends. Having a fast device to read from will help reduce the gap, but it will always be there.

Only way around it is to merge the tracks together so they are a single file.

Thanks Manny
