yes its easy enough, couple of bolts to undo if memory serves. i didnt have any problems when i did mine

Cheers - battery should be here by Friday.
Problem is - have had the plaster cast off and put into a boot for 5 weeks so still can't drive

Thank you 47p2 for the links - I followed your recommendation adn bought the cheapest Varta

Can anyone advise what to code in as part number and serial number. I found the instructions here http://wiki.ross-tech.com/wiki/index...ry_Replacement

So it wants 10 or 11 digits part number and 10 digits serial number. The label looks like this

Serial number can be anything. When I did mine, I just added one to the last digit and saved that. What was the previous battery, if it was a 110AH you may get away with leaving the part number, just select Varta from the dropdown. Just altering the serial is enough to get the battery monitor relearning parameters.
