I think lenso do set like that too. It's good to see a big car like the 8 can pull off with bbs alloys. Don't know how it will look on my one being the L version?.
Cheers

This is an L from a forum in the states (audizine.com) the yanks are very good with alloy choice and set up. Loads of info on there regarding offset and wheel width, you should have a look.

Japan racing makes a set like that also. im going to a dealer later today. they can be ordered custom made in 18 , 19 en 20 inch en ET made to customer wishes.
the factory is in Poland. www.jr-wheels.com/
as soon as i hear what they will be asking, i will inform you guys (prices started from €800 according to the add, which i find very democratic for tailor-made wheels)

im much more confused about the width of the wheels i should order
any pro advises not to stray to far from factory sizes & ET, and no staggered set etc etc - but i really want that look of wheels poking out a bit.

ah well, a luxury problem i guess

those BBS wheels do look awesome

I have no experience with Japan racing wheels but their website does not give much detail. With the size and weight of 8 I would like to find out how their wheels are made first.

Many of the cheap cast wheels are soft and get easily out of shape. I personally would go for second hand forged wheels instead of cast. If you want one specific design and cannot find it second hand that's another matter.

i was with the dealer of the JR Wheels here in Belgium, for a setup of 19*8.5J, with ET35 front, and ET 20 rear, would be something of around €1100 (excl tax).

as to the the question of ainarssems, honestly, i dont know. I was advised by friends to stay away from chinese copies & replicas because they use inferior quality iron/aluminium, but anything from europe should be fine?

the dealer there also distributes VEEMANN, who are made in UK, and they also have some very nice wheels, but not possible to choose custom ET there. he did say that VEEMANN have a special production system called "pressure casting" (or something like that)
