Hi
It's going in tomorrow to hopefully be fixed. I have a brass cog and a stainless steel one. The brass one came with translated instructions which are quite muddled but some helpful pics. The ss one has an easier to follow set of instructions. I'll post back and let you know how it goes.

I picked the car up this morning. The screen now operates as it should. The original nylon cog had lost a tooth, which was the cause of my problem. This has now been replaced with one of the metal ones I had

Happy days...just need four tyres now.....

The repair was 4 hours labour and completed at an independent garage in Surrey.

I gave them both and randomly asked them to fit the brass one assuming there was no reason not to. It was confirmed that both the brass and the ss where a perfect replacement.
