im still looking for the right car
but i think im being too picky for whats out there my cars are always (as new) i look after them properly well ive looked a few now ive seen body filler in them,dints,scratches,gouges and prices are too high in my opinion some cars are for sale month after month after month i also think S8 V10's will be around £10,000 next year the cheapest i saw was £12,000 recently ! well,,im looking every day there has to be one out there ????????

well.....
made arrangements to go today tuesday (audi main dealer) had an email last night said THE CAR HAS GONE TO THE BODY SHOP TO HAVE 2 WHEELS REFURBED ITS BACK FRIDAY ! that doesnt sound right to me 2 WHEELS?? BODY SHOP?? HERE WE GO AGAIN.....

Wheel refurb, nothing unusual for a second hand car and something any prestige dealers would do if the wheels have even a slight kerbing. 2 wheels, well they could be on the same side and a result of kerb side parking. Workshop, well it would be their workshop doing the work so again normal.
If they had said new body panels, then thats a different ball game.

what worries me is what the salesman said..
THE CAR HAS GONE TO THE BODY SHOP AND WILL BE BACK ON SITE FRIDAY so its not there, and its an AUDI main dealer ive seen many a mobile van refurbing wheels at audi centres same day turnaround anyway i will inspect it very close next week now......

Ask to go and see it in process at the body shop as you're in the area? If it's having paint they can't hide the fact then!

All the main dealers I know and trust send there wheels outside the business for sorting.
Of the main dealers I know with onsite bodyshops, their work doesnt tend to be as good as dedicated specialists in my opinion. So, imo its a normal and good thing its gone off site for them doing properly. Give it a good look over on Friday, and let us know how it goes
