Default Plese help

hi, please HELP

have been very curious and have checked my hidden menu and have pressed "bootloader" and have stuck there mmi start doing something and have started to looking for some kind of cd, and did not reacted to any buttons what ever, so i have putted an MMI update cd1 in to the cd player, then its have uploaded everything and start working just lost missing from the menu even the air suspension settings... have done the full MMI update but its not helping.
What to do ? ;(

The MMI update to 5570 is 3 cds. Part number is 4L0998961.

The bootloader option completely resets and erases the MMI, so even once you load the firmware again most of its coding will be missing. You are going to need VCDS to get the coding back.

One piece of advise we always say when messing with the hidden menu is "Do not go anywhere near the bootloader option"

HA HA HA, now its to late in it
once i done that the i have started looking how to fix this and everywhere everybody says stay away from bootloader

on one forum one guy says that he took his car to the dealer and they needed to replace whole mmi unit and he was charged 1600$ so thats was my firs comment what i seen and i almost had a hard attack

Certainly try to recode with VCDS first, but if the MMI interface box needs to be replaced it's a relatively simple task. The module is behind the passenger glove box next to the CAN gateway. There are many used units from A8parts and I think component protection will need to be removed.

Yes replacement is relatively simple, just behind the glove box, you can also look for a tutorial for it if you want.

vcds will do most of it

the air suspension menu can be put back in with the hidden menu
