Ebay £3.50. Probably not as good as the Philips but I'm sure similar ones to the Philips are available for a good deal less.

......errmmmmmm......what's wrong with sidelights?! Having driven a Saab for 7 years with DRLs (that means the rears were on as well) I rarely venture out without mysidelights on...

My sidelights - even with hi-power LEDs - are pretty feeble. You can see these from a *really* long way away and no dazzle. As much presence as dipped heads but no discomfort for other road users and no wear and tear on the HIDs.

Was contemplating a mod of this nature but the picture of the silver 8 has put me off. I think on PF cars the mod has to be done inside of the headlamp lense similar to new style S8 cluster led. However and bizzarley the red one seems a little more appealing but needs to be cut a little shorter IMHO.

If I had LED DRL's in my FL, I'd definitely fit them within the headlamp itself, and use fatter ones, no more than 10 along the bottom.

The tiny ones running along the top, following the curve of the unit look way too fussy, and too many for me.
