Mine is a mid 2002 and has the bayonet type (offset pins).

These are the lights I ordered, you can see them in the pics at the top of the page.

Note the price is for a pair.

I've given up with these and just gone back to normal bulbs. Since I installed the LED bulbs, both have failed (a life of a few months) so, even though they look much better, I can't be bothered with the poor reliability. And Ultraleds simply ignored my email asking if such a short life was normal.

At the risk of you being the kiss of death on my sidelight bulbs Jim, the stacked LED type that I fitted over a year ago are still fine (I bought 2 pairs just in case but still havnt changed them)

I have used them over 2 years in A8, 1.5 years in Freelander and have bought another pair for A6. All from China/Hong Kong through e-bay £0.99 for pair with free delivery.
I use ones like these: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/2x-194-168...item45faddb573 but I got them with free delivery.

I had one of mine die the other day, looked at getting a replcement set as per my link above and couldn't find them.

Did some searching on ebay and found these:

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/1905839573...84.m1439.l2649

Fitted them last week, they are MUCH better, brigther and smaller.

No codes thrown so didn't even have to fit the resistor boxes that came with them.

Highly recommended!
