00234 - Sensor for Automatic Distance Regulation Misadjusted
Hi,
My cruise control stopped working yesterday, I've just checked the fault codes and it's coming up with the following: Sunday,26,May,2013,10:26:22:32264 VCDS Version: Release 11.11.3 Address 13: Auto Dist. Reg Labels: None Control Module Part Number: 4E0 910 561 F HW: 4E0 907 561 F Component and/or Version: ABSTANDSREGELUNGH03 0020 Software Coding: 0011154 Work Shop Code: WSC 02313 785 00200 VCID: 254BEF4DECFA271 1 Fault Found: 00234 - Sensor for Automatic Distance Regulation Misadjusted 000 - - - MIL ON Freeze Frame: Fault Status: 11110000 Fault Priority: 5 Fault Frequency: 1 Reset counter: 176 Mileage: 113868 km Time Indication: 0 Date: 2013.05.26 Time: 10:27:00 Freeze Frame: Temperature: 24.0°C Voltage: 11.90 V Bin. Looks like it may be a dealer job
ELSAWIN will have the procedure, but it needs to have an alignment doohickey apparently.

It appears to have sorted itself. I jet washed the car and clearned it. Seems to be ok again now! Perhaps the sensor was dirty or something?
