Thankyou Gordon for making the trip from Scotland to bring my baby back for a vist, it was lovely to see she's back in good hands, and on the basis it looks like you're gonna see her right, I'll let you keep her...

And, it looks mint..... The only D2 I ever drove that was anything like that 'fresh' feeling was tintins FL at circa 20K miles on the clock.... Pricless, cant be another like it on the planet....

So, despite my warnings, Darren was determined to cough up a few quid to Amar....
Heres how it went down.... Shortly after the first set off, Amars 530bhp is pulling away from Darrens 450bhp nicely... and a few split seconds later..... Game over, Darren is trailing quite a bit, after not long at all..... Round two, Darren braking hard after a run..... But whats that in the bottom left hand corner - That'll be amar already gone past then.... Round 3 and seems the wipers have placed undue load on Darrens alternator, causing him to fall behind.... again... No contest.... Hats off to Amar - Hes taken a fecking quick car, and make it quite a bit quicker. Its the quickest car I've even been in, and I think a number of folk were really appreciative of Amars generous test drive policy today - thanks.... To give some perspective here, the W12 SWB pulls 0-60 in around 5.1. Thats not exactly sluggish. Amar is pulling this in sub 4 seconds, and boy does it show. Its not an 8, but any car that can leave any 8 standing like that is worthy of a post...

That was a fun race, my car was only getting going when I had to brake, else the gap would have been a lot bigger, the gearbox killing 844nm of torque helps! I'm planning on keeping this thing for the long haul.

Heres some slow motion footage of the passenger airbag deploying....
Watch how the roof ripples and the sunroof flexes up. Thats some force inside there. If the crash doesnt kill you, the airbag should finish you off....
