Yes, a bit left-of-field advertising a BMW on our Audi A8 forum but nothing ventured, nothing gained as they say.

Now, with 3 large, luxury, German saloons on my street I feel I should do the right thing where the neighbours are concerned and let one go. Clearly the D2 will never be the one to go so my 61 plate 7 Series is up for sale.

Might not be the car for someone on this forum, I appreciate, but you might just have that BMW-loving 'friend' you're always arguing with about which manufacturer is the better of the two. He/she might be interested even if you are not and I'd really appreciate you forwarding this thread link to them if that's not too much to ask.

52,400 miles. Owned by first owner to c.8k miles, my dad to 35k miles and then me. Full BMW service history, will be serviced again at BMW just before sale, will have full year's MOT. 20" wheels just refurbed for selling, full bonnet respray recently - professionally painted because of some stone chips annoying me. Whole car will be getting a full, professional polish prior to sale too. All tyres nearly new with Goodyear Excellence up front and Eagle F1s on the back.

All the interior toys like HDD, premium sound system, internet including Google search and street view, bluetooth, voice activation, Sat Nav & keyless start, twin memory front seats with passenger assist. Leather cleaned and treated every 4 months by me since I've had it. Looks brand new.

Extras of note are soft close doors, top-down reversing camera, peek-out-the-junction front camera view (straight six so the bonnet is very long and this feature is actually very handy), rear privacy glass, 'M' multifunction steering wheel, extended leather pack, 'M' aerodynamic bodystyling, heated rear seats, auto-main-beam assist, power bootlid.

Suspension settings Comfort/Normal/Sport/Sport+ and Drivetrain settings for Normal/Sport

245Bhp and 450Nm

Lovely Deep Sea Blue not often seen on a 7 Series. Much better than the two-a-penny silvers and blacks out there.
