Mine too. Everything works as it should, there are no problems and it is reporting fault free in VCDS, except for that cycling in the video I posted. I think I just need a GND to the AMI in Pin4.

Just to conclude this thread, tonight I finally found time to make a cable that splits P1 feed to the AMI's P1 & P4. This fits in-between the power cable and AMI. The feed to P4 tells the AMI it is 1F-Media Player 1. So no conflicts with the CD player. Even though everything work before I thought it was best to wire it correctly. I guess the OEM Audi cable will be pre wired with P4, the cable I used was an Ebay retro fit kit.

She who must be obeyed is letting me have an AMI as an Xmas/Birthday present.
I thought that I understood what you meant with your previous note, but now I am confused.

If you intend to keep the CD player "Media Player 1" you have to tell the AMI unit it is "Media Player 2" by supplying a feed to pin 4. Without this the AMI will default to "Media Player 1" and this will conflict with the CD player and may cause MMI issues.

Also, the right hand gap next to the CD player is slightly smaller on PF D3's so you have to modify it. I've never used my CD player since installing the AMI. By far the simplest install is to swap out the CD player for the AMI, a simple swap will be 10 mins max. If you found you really need the CD player you could try to reinstall it in the boot area.

I am looking at one on fleebay but the seller is being a bit slow in answering my questions. He asked for my vin, which I have sent twice but no reply as yet.
