Underbody sealant peeling

Has anyone ever seen this before? Underneath the passenger side door (driver side for RH driver cars). The coating is flaking off.
Any ideas how to repair?

To me it looks like someone has used a jack just to the right of centre and has deformed the sill, cracking the sealant.

I would say it is more age related, I've seen this appear on lots of late 80's and early 90's Audis and VW's.
The only proper solution is to have it all removed and have a bodyshop spray on new sealant with a "schultz" type spray gun.
Companies like " Wurth" make this type of sealant, it might be worth asking them if they have a DIY option like an Aerosol Can that could be used for localised repairs.

Have a look for "stone chip" paint it's like a flexi type stuff thats used for under body, sills ect. You can get it in a rattle can somewhere like halfords would probably stock hammerite type one
