D2 Final Edition works update

Hi All

Thought I would update you all on some of the work recently carried out on my car.

1. Replaced oil cooler, coolant pipe. The one that eventually fails in between engine and oil cooler.
Replaced with a Billet Aluminium one from the USA

2. New Cambelt, pullies, tensioners & water pump and thermostat

3. New ancillary serpentine belt and pully

4. Re fitted my original repacked catalytic converters. Had these repacked in Germany. Total including postage £750
I now have two spare after market Catalytic converters if any one is interested.

5. Full car detail with Ceramic coating finish, including FE Wheels :cool:

6. New MOT yesterday - Pass with no advisories :D

Quite an expensive last three months.
The car is definitely worth the investment though

All done just in time for the 2nd Lockdown - Happy Days :mad::(

That’s a nice list of preventative maintenance for future proofing.

How good was the work in those cats? £750 is a very fair price considering just one from Audi was about £1100 to £1200 before they were discontinued :rolleyes:
