Hi everybody eventualy making progress with the beast ,just a quick qustion my service book is reading cambelt change at 59500mil in 2005 ,i have 111000miles on the clock ,when should i be looking to have this done and whom by i live in the leeds area so pretty central and how much would i be looking at for belt ,tensioners,water pump, and thermostat,doing could any body point vme in the right direction cheers Nick

You could leave it another 2 years/20k miles going by the official schedule.
For the change. If you're in the A8OC, then I think there's a deal with an Audi dealer round your way, or Ben @ AVP in Burton-on-Trent comes highly recommended.

nick i live close to you in bradford and i would take it to ben @ avp. its well worth the journey and if you become a member of a8oc then you will get 10% -15% discount +++

dont know price off top of my head. i know it was about half the price that the main dealers quoted me. best give ben a ring on tuesday and ask him. i live near greengates in bradford.
