Hi All, I have a 97 3.7 that I need to change the throttle switch on, now the question is does it need to be set up. Previous ones I have fitted on Jags and Range Rovers you needed a multimeter to get the correct ohm reading but looking through Elswin nothing is mentioned apart from rotating it until resistance is felt. Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks Alun

What do you mean by the throttle switch? The 32V motors are cable operated throttles. Do you mean the ECU throttle position sensor?

Yes it is the throttle position sensor, couldn't for the life of me remember the correct name for it. Old age doesn't come on it's own.

If it's a straight exchange then there is no set up. Unbolt old one bolt on new one I think.

Maybe Revo_Ben would like to comment..................
