Deek
Hi All I have just notice the Chrome Window trims on my 2003 Audi A8 are looking a bit dull and will not pollish up, after reading many Posts, it seams they are are produced from aluminium with anodised finish, although I know they must be chemically brightened first as siver anodised on it's own does not look like chrome, so today I tested a small area on my car using a ROEBUCK FLEXIBLE MULT PURP POLISHER FINE
block, which we use for standard anodised aluminium, it has made a vast improvement and I am sure with some time to spare they will come up like new, then it will be a case of looking for the correct product to seal and protect them.
Please do not hold me responsible in anyway if it does not work for your trims, be very carefull and mask your paint work and rubber in case you slip, do a test area first to ensure you are happy with the results, I would add a photo, but because of reflections it would not be helpfull.
