I'm not sure age is necessarily to blame. Certainly in my case I've never been good at remembering names and faces. I often have to meet people half a dozen times before I remember who they are! Despite my attempts to meet and speak to everyone yesterday, I still don't really know who's who or which car they own. http://i.imgur.com/K0FhRwC.gif

In fact, I'm sure I probably missed speaking to or saying hello or goodbye to one or two people; it was a bit overwhelming. Apologies to anyone I missed.

This one?: http://forum.a8parts.co.uk/attachmen...5&d=1419797164

That's mine (the one with the MKZ plate).

I thought the seats were the same colour as The_Laird's at first, but I'm just getting more and more confused now. I think I'm just going to refer to them white-ish from now on :D

Good to meet you yesterday - The Lairds interior is definately more of a platinum grey colour whereas yours is a cream/donkey brown two tone colouring. What does your code in the front of your service book say?

And you. You're Neil, right? :)

I think we all need to wear name badges .... real name, forum name and a picture of one's car :D

Same as the boot sticker, which is N5D / WF.

Yes that's right +++
Hmm boot sticker says valcona leather / platinum grey
But the colour scheme is definately a beige and mid brown 2 tone scheme going on there. I would probably put this down to it being a final edition and them running out whatever they've got to use up rather than what they planned, we've seen stickers before that are not correctly coded. You could try speaking to the Audi help line and see what interior colour they have on the system for it but I can assure you that you don't have platinum grey!

Interesting, thanks. :)

It's not too important that I find out what it's called .... just curious really.

Interestingly, the service book gives a delivery date for the car of 28/06/02, which would make it quite an early FE, would it not? You'd think they would at least manage to keep the first FEs true to their spec' codes before they began running out of parts.

Manufacturing date is what you need to check, on the sticker. ;)
Mine's not an FE (made 04/02) but was delivered/registered 16/09/2003. :eek:

Wow, that was a long time between manufacture and registration!

My sticker states 05/02, just one month after yours!

I thought that those numbers might be a date, but wasn't sure. It's just on the end of a line that reads:
