"Great Ocean Road" is my personal favourite - that did what it said on the tin(nie...) for me +++ : https://www.australia.com/en/places/...cean-road.html

...though they lied about the 12 Apostles :tuttut:

[Just watching an EasyJet flight from Bordeaux attempting to land at Gatwick for the 3rd time! One suspects the pilots are not enjoying themselves….

ETA - looks like he’s now given up and heading back!

They're still getting out of Heathrow, though no sign of any arrivals.
Edit, A stream of arrivals are just heading in on the second runway!

Delta from Detroit appears to have given up............. no, it made it OK.

Mummy and Daddy Sarg flew in to Gatwick early yesterday, nicely timed in the lull between the two storms.

It's realtively calm in Northamptonshire right now, still waiting for those 80-90mph gusts

We're feeling the full effect of it in West Sussex - just been out in the garden attempting to prevent a cover blowing away with some strategically placed clamps, and it was actually pretty hard to walk in the direction I wanted to go!

I'm expecting something to be trashed today

I removed the covers from our garden furniture on Wednesday, the table and chairs can get rained on for a couple of days ;)

A Qatar A380 has just turned away from Heathrow on its second attempt. Wind here is moving more SW than S which may help them.

This is quite therapeutic to watch in the background of my working day!

Just landed.

I have just done a five day tour in Llandudno and returned today. Departed 30 minutes earlier than normal because of weather problem possibilities. Very little traffic, fastest run ever, maybe tail wind, sat in 12th gear all the way. Only problem was Thelwall Viaduct, closed two lanes of the four northbound. But clear after that.
