Another ultra rare dark red interior. Apparently most of this is from the factory!

And I found the one with the cream leather / navy blue?

Wow that red and alcantara is unusual. It looks a bit like the oxblood in the US 2003 model, but the red dash and carpet are just too much!

I do like the black and cream very much - I was contemplating doing something similar with a twist sport interior, albeit without the gorgeous leather dash. Similar to what the PF twist interior had, with black dash and door tops, but also black carpet like that one.

To directly answer the OP question, here are the standard, off the shelf colours available for the D2 facelift. Prefacelift was a far reduced colour set of just black, dark grey, cream and blue - All on a black dashboard.

The equipment code is clearly marked on the build sticker for your car.

When you move into the exclusive colour schemes, then the range of colours increases somewhat. but they will start with a base 'equipment code' and build up from there.

Exclusive was available back on the pre facelift, and you can get some specialised colour schemes, but it was incredibly rare and not really marketed back then, especially in the UK.

The first real signs of a push on exclusive interiors was the D2 Final Edition, which like the C6 RS6 +effectively included an exclusive interior, albeit from a select subset of designs that Audi chose to promote, all based on the 'WF' (Platinum Grey) base. It could have just as easily been based on WA which would have save MJ a lot of faff changing bits over :-)

It wasn't until the D3 that you got the 'Exclusive' emblem on the doors, to show you had something a bit special - Although this could be earned through exclusive leather, wood or carpets etc.

Worth noting as well the D2 facelift colour schemes all had a dance theme - Jazz / Jive / Tango / Blues / Soul etc. You will see them documented throughout ETKA. Shows some German somewhere had a sense of humour.

This is a great thread, some lovely interiors coming through - Keep em coming +++

My Final Edition also has the Audi 4 ring logo on the front head rests.
Not seen this on another car to date. Unless someone knows otherwise. :D +++

Just double checked my headrest logos. It seems I have them on the rear headrests as well. Anybody else got them?

I've never seen the logo embossed like that on a factory D2 interior, only on custom jobs. None of my FEs have it.

Perhaps it was done by a previous owner?

It’s probably my least favourite colour interior - it seems to get lighter/mintier with exposure to sunlight and also seems to suffer from easier wear to the contact surfaces than the other FE combos. Not uncommon for the steering wheel to show some dull grey/black underneath
