Beautiful car, way out of my league right now though. Maybe next time it goes for sale it may be a bit more affordable :)

Should have no problems selling it

Its a difficult car to value in fairness. It is really quite one in a million, but at the same time not in a colour combo that most people really jump at.

Last time it was for sale it was up at around 10K, and it sat there a long time. The guy who was selling it seemed to have no idea of the rarity of the model he was selling so the advert was poor.

I know there has been some time and money spent on it since, but a W12 with >100K miles has a ceiling price no matter what the spec is.

If you have the luxury of time to wait for that 1 person that really appreciates this car, can afford it, and is looking for one, then just be patient.

If you need it gone, Oscars price does seem quite generous, but then he will understand the spec and probably have the client base to do something with it.

i have to be honest and clarify.

This car has 73k on the clock, and yes you are correct the advert was a shambles. i soon found out why ...

The owner could not speak English and his son had made the advert.

he had changed everything to Kilometers "hence 118k" in the advert, what he did not mention is that he took the battery off and took it to Audi for a replacement and when he re installed the new one a couple of days later the ABS lights ect and steering angle sensor related faults came up, " and we all know how much of a song and dance the dash likes to make when there is a fault " its quite spectacular

Audi quoted him over 3k odd to fix the fault, so the reason it did not sell at 11k was because there was no mention of the fault in the add. " im guessing would be Buyers ran a mile at the sight of the dash "

I picked up the car and drove less than a mile to the nearest shell garage, where i plugged in VCDS re- Coded the ABS module, and changed kilometers to MPH ect and low and behold ive had 5 months of no lights on the dash it drives perfect and only has 82k miles now

i just happened to overlook the issues knowing i could fix them easy and not pointing out the Mileage error +++

so yes i ended up with a bargain myself !

Since then i have replaced all the plastic trims inside the car as they were worn,
ive fitted all new brakes all round with Yellow stuff ebc pads
tinted the windows to a factory OEM tint level nothing too mad
fitted Cylinder on demand and LPG
replaced all the fridge plastics
added Digi tv to the rear as-well as the front
refurbished the wheels and added new TPMS sensors
given it a full major service including plugs and all fluids changed Brakes, gearbox ect
Put in a brand new Windscreen ( Heated + Lane assist)
its not perfect yet but it will be,

Next is a full detail and interior restoration where they bring the leather back to life,

What a simply stunning car. I'd take it off your hands if I didn't have the S8
