The only point I get any resonance at when driving long distances is in 5th gear at 70mph otherwise its sublime at all other revs and noises!! :D

I wonder what would happen if the middle box is chopped out too. That's another annoyingly restrictive item in the exhaust path, and must weight like 10kg.
That whole post-cat part of the exhaust weighs 31kg on its own! Most of that must be the two boxes.

I had to Google that, and I still have no idea what the hell a confederate fly is, though I'm picturing some kind of enormous blue and red fly, covered in white stars.
