I wonder what would happen if the middle box is chopped out too. That's another annoyingly restrictive item in the exhaust path, and must weight like 10kg.
That whole post-cat part of the exhaust weighs 31kg on its own! Most of that must be the two boxes.

I had to Google that, and I still have no idea what the hell a confederate fly is, though I'm picturing some kind of enormous blue and red fly, covered in white stars.

Is it my ignorance, or did you mean to type confederate flag? :D
