Tell me Sir Will, was that recent and how long did it take as I'm down that way quite regularly?

Cheers.

Yes that's been true since winter of 2006 😒

Did not take long and this was on my older D2 about 3 years ago.

I remember taking it in, the guys having a look and doing it there and then.

From memory I had a wonder round town for a couple of hours and came back all work completed.

Great, I'll give them a call tomorrow. Do you mind if I reference yours when I talk to them?

Sir WIll 16th December 2015 07:57 PM

You could do but I doubt they would remember as its been so long.

Just as reference to them doing one really, worth a punt..

So, had my windscreen replaced yesterday and also the exhaust system flexi joints on both sides. The exhaust repair was done at the Waveney Tyre and Exhaust centre in Lowestoft. Great thanks to Alan and his guys who cut out the old knackered ones and put two new ones in for.....wait for it....£138 inclusive!
She is now as smooth as velvet and just pur's along. Anyone in this area with A8 exhaust issues I would recommend Alan for excellent service and superb value for money....
Just the ABS module now which started play up last week too. Amazing what goes wrong when you don't use these babies for a long time...
Oh, almost forgot. Gave the old girl a bath too and looks great again.

Great result. I'll remember them if I need exhaust work. +++
