Trouble is what would you genuinely replace a D2 S8 with?

The D3 is a wonderful car but a different beast, Porsche 928 was always tempting but now they are silly money.

Its in the specialists today and yes indeed we have a stuck Thermostat.

So time for its third Cambelt change with all the toys in its life.

Was quoted £780 which in fact is reasonable considering the parts and the job itself. All OE including waterpump etc as if you are going to do it make sure you have the best parts on there!

In fact the A2 decided out of sympathy to have coolant problems also, a brittle and broken little plastic Y pipe spitting the coolant all over the place.

I had Synchronised red coolant warnings on the cars!
