After my last post, and before heading to the annual meet, I attacked both the drivers seat and the plastic trim around the bottom of the door. I used a product called 'Interior Wizard' by a local company called 'Orchard Autocare', and after about two hours of scrubbing I was satisfied with the result. It isn't 100% clean, but a massive difference visually. Even comparing the drivers door plastic trim to that of the rear door (which doesn't see much traffic), there is a big difference. Now I'm back, I just have to repeat the process on the other seats and trim.
The headlining will still be an issue though, but while at A8parts on Sunday, I bought a few parts, including a solar sunroof lining (in cream), so may look at trying to clean that. |
Mine is manky in places, beige interior does not hide dirt at all some bits of trim have mold on them in places
lazy careless previous owners! grr seat belts need a good going over as well |
