I don't tow a caravan, but often tow my utility 6x4 with the S8.
Also pulled a few cars and vans (Toyota Hiace type van, not 'cara' van :D) up our driveway with it!

A bit like 27litres, I'd tow a 6x4 trailer. I was towing either trailer loads of concrete 10 miles to dispose of as infill or trailer loads of soil and rubble to a building site my nephew was working on. Neither was a suitable place for an A8 to be, but it didn't have any issues at all.

They make a great tow vehicle, very stable, very fast, great tow capacity.
Even with this load I was out accelerating cars on the highway!

I love reading the posts from Forum users who have their inlet tracts deep-cleaned, have a graduated set of tooth brushes to clean their engines and run ONLY on Shell SupEr Dear... :cool:

I could have done that, but it just seemed silly to use my mates truck to haul the engine!
