So spent some time wandering through the options on the RNS-D and couldn't find any specific info on the version of the software. Adrian, hopefully you can help here, but I've attached a screenshot of the disk contents.

Apart from the dates (several are June 2017), do any of the titles give any indication of version? Was wondering if the '1724' in 'MMI_2G_Europe_1724_WEU_kN172EUx02' is the most relevant one, 17 being 2017 and 24 being week 24, which is June.

That's the nav data from your D3 nav (clue being it's referring to MMI 2G, which is later than RNS-D)

Ref earlier suggestion to upload - that's possible, but the challenge is that you need:

a. known good blank media (eg Taiyo Yuden)
b. known good slow speed burner (older the better!)
c. specific software to burn the file (Clone CD)
d. hacks to that software (a 'Teleatlas' burning profile to get around the copy protection)

Now you mention it, I do recall updating the D3 one. I do remember doing the D2 as well, but unfortunately, it's probably the same age as everyone else has.
