Ronin may have a point. Quick look on 'how many left' has 40 A8 2.8s registered and 149 S8s registered.

Think this thread has been hijacked. Stop measuring appendages boys....

Yes...I would like to attend...

I've put it in my diary, lots going on domestically so it will be a lastminute.com decision, assuming I can register late. +++

Well I went to the 'show' as a normal person, took the Beemer as the Audi failed MOT.

My observations:

There was:

A ton of Tee tees - TT owners group there.
A bunch of A2's - A2 owners group there.
Some UR quattros - some more genuine than others :)
Audi Q series cars scattered about
A few R8's V8 and V10 which some of the 'boys' loved revving the nuts out of (thought they were scooby owners)

Most interesting?:

1974 NSU Ro 80 with rotary engine had a lot of interest with a small group of Audi 100's from the same era
Nogaro Blue Audi S4
Pink (factory ordered) A3/S3 - Just mad but fun.
Audi Q7 for all the wrong reasons

And any A8's? Well I spotted two. One a slammed A8, debadged, W reg (I think), black(ish) non sport with a note on the screen apologising about the state of the alloys. One a silver PF A8 with an S8 numberplate. That was it unless there were more sneaking around.

All in all, as my daughter put it, it was pretty 'meh'. But it was a cheap way to visit the motor museum without paying full price.

Or not..... I think the weather intervened! :tuttut:
It's this coming Sunday, 14th July, anyone going? I can make it for once....
£18 seems a bit steep, but that's trivial compared to the petrol needed to get there and back.

Very true: 450 miles round trip for me, so ~= £150 in fuel - plus an > 8 hour round trip.

So I'm out, sadly. :-(

Have a great day - and share photos please, of course ;)

I am planning to be there as is Architex_mA8tey (Neil). The plan is to meet at the Pig bush Inclosure with the AOC which is 7minutes out from Beaulieu. Meet up time before 08:30 so we can tootle in together :)
