The covers, I'm talking A8L D3 here, are spring loaded and the nozzle is deployed by water pressure alone - no lecky motors to break.

I'd think a gentle fiddle about might get them out but just a lot of squirting should be enough, especially if you let it empty them put some hot water in.

I don't know the logic of firing to Left then Right is done, some kind of divertor or a fancy pump - that's the kind of things I started this thread to find out about! +++
