there are extenders for the O2 sensor housing that get round the problem.

Jet and the Supermarkets and the small independent fuel retailers don't have their own refineries, they buy on the spot markets.

What can happen is that Jet will send in a Contractor to pick up fuel from Grangemouth (Scotland's distribution centre) and they may not use a tank clean to the fuel they are picking up ie last trip it was diesel, this time it's unleaded. It should be clean, but that's my theory why I always use Shell +++

I think it's my fault - I'm a cat jinx! Both cats went on this 2.8 when I had it, one went on my S8 just after I bought it and a couple of weeks ago I bought a Puggy 206 for my daughter and gues what.....the cat went on the way home!
Grant - I got a nice pair of stainless sports cats with a lifetime g'tee fitted to the S8 from a place in Kirkintilloch for half the price that Audi wanted. It's Semtech Motors. Might be worth giving them a call for a price on 0141 7761919
