Any issues with remap if we run it on biodiesel and most importantly cost? I am fairly close so might drop by( in A6 not the S8) if remap looks tempting but no promises

Hi, if yours is the 180TDi then it's the 2.5V6 TDi yeas? Unfortunately, we don;t cover this engine. Reasons being that it doesn't end up with great results but more than that, the V6 TDi isn't the strongest of engines and so we don;t offer software. Sorry chap but better safe than sorry, stick with her as she is mate! +++

Sorry Ben, I'm away (here instead...), so will miss this (great shame), and also that other minor event in London (less bothered) and will be tasting excellent malts instead....

btw, my s8 is also running great on the remap too....

Would love to, but timings don't work - I'm in Skye till Saturday, then Plockton over the weekend. Pity, 'cos I drove up the side of Loch Lomond on Monday. Never mind, next time....

Yes, just me there representing the 8's. Had some excellent scoff and company. Had to leave the car there though, my nose for trouble triumphed again and Ben will be sorting out my front diff output shaft seal this week for me.

I'll also be thinking about some new front brakes. Whilst I like the performance of the EBC brakes, they held on gamely at the Nurburgring but are noisy in normal use, though for the price they are unbeatable. So I'm thinking Ferodo DS2500 and Brembo discs, but I'll need to examine the finances first.

Ahhh...brakes...Sometimes they go when you least expect it. Metal on metal on the rears of my s8, plus frozen calipers meant spending 6 hours more on Skye than we'd planned :(- no great hardship, other than queueing down the side of Loch Lomond for an hour. Bit of a surprise a month or so after being serviced - maybe it was a good thing that I couldn't make the 'Ring trip.:-(
