Guess you will still need to unblock the drains as well or it will just fill up again?

daviesbike 23rd June 2011 06:57 PM

no problem, and yes the drains under the H vac blower motor still need to be cleared i used the audi pages way that mike discribed over the phone for me, i still need to investigate Botangs hole near the ecu tray just to be extra sure the misses wont be having a foot spa on the move again haha

have you done the orange ones in the tranny tunnel as well?

daviesbike 23rd June 2011 09:07 PM

i had done them a while back but im fairly sure the cause was the 4inches or so of water in the scuttle area under the bonnet by the H vac, it was however in all the vents in the rear ect.. so i may well check that out at some point to make sure it all stay's dry

My Aircon has started smelling of stale water just as it starts up ,you think i have a drain hole prob ,though my car does leave a nice puddle which appears to be coming from the orange tube position ,but only on the drivers side.

orange drain pipe yes, by any chance if you turn the air con on for 5-10 mins then manualy select econ mode shutting the ac off then tell me what it smells like +++ if it only smells bad when it crosses over from ac to econ then its the orange drains

ok will give it a go when i am next out thanks :)
