Well, did the job and the parts from Murrays direct, were perfect.:)

Only slight problem is this. The o/s/f brake is binding lightly. Just enough to notice the car 'stick' a little as it coasts to a stop. The disc is very warm- if not hot.

I notiiced, when the brakes were off, that the ally calipers are each fitted with four stainless steel pieces (fixed with one screw each) to stop the steel pad backs from wearing the calipers. One of mine was lifted off the caliper slightly by either corrosion or grime, but I couldn't get the screw out to clean underneath.

Does anyone know how best to deal with this?

We ground the pad backs' edges flat in a bench grinder but disdn't really relieve them. Worried that they might rattle when more worn.

I think your only option is to look at a refurb, or a tool to get the screw out and replace. I had an issue with my D2 where the NSR caliper bracket was touching the disc and sqealing below 20sih. A quick blast with the angle gringer and all was good :)

Well. There was no way I could that that small screw out that holds the plate on.

I finished up just 'precision relieving' the pad back with a grinder. To be fair it worked a treat.

Can you get these wee screws somewhere?
