What's the box free-floating on top of the TV tuner, out of interest?

Hi,
As most will know I am the previous owner of the car. Having obsessed over it for nearly three years I can answer a couple of queries.

Just to clear up the confusion and sorry to contradict Ranj, but it's not a final edition. It is something much more interesting as it is an Audi Exclusive car. I only found this out by accident as I was ordering some wheel caps for it from the dealers. The chap looking for the correct part said there was a note on the system identifying it as being fettled by quattro GmbH.

Oh and the 10 disc DVD was duff when I bought the car. It was fitted with a PlayStation 1, so I did a deal with the chap I bought the car off to have a PlayStation 2 fitted, to retain the DVD playing function and have a games console.

I am more than happy to vouch for this car. I spent many £'s whilst I had the car keeping it mechanically perfect. I can still list everything from memory I had done regarding servicing and preventative maintenance. I only ever used Audi OEM parts with the exception of one set of EBC front brakes, which I did return to OEM last November. Ranj only parted me from her after he promised to look after her, which I am confident he will have done.

The car has a very probably unique spec and whilst I had it I never envied any other S8.

DVD Changer and Not Final Edition

Well I was wrong...I honestly thought it was a final edition but obviously I now know it isnt.

However, I can definitely say it has been one of the better cars I have owned. Since owning it I have done approximately 9000 miles since February and it has been a joy to drive and asked for nothing.

When I bought the car...it had recently been fitted with new tyres and front brakes. It has also been fitted with sports cat downpipes which give it an awesome growl when accelerating.

Certainly a lovely looking car with I would imagine a unique spec in the UK +++ thought there were too many toys for it to be FE and slightly surprised it wasn't queried before knowing this lot :D

My bluetooth module must be up behind the glovebox somewhere as never seen it and it's definitely fitted lol

Ranj - am sure one of the recent visitors to the site looking for a car will be in touch soon ;)

Hi Ranj,
My phone died last night as I tried to reply to your txt! Have you actually advertised the S8 yet, if not I would respectfully suggest you hold off until I have seen your car.Where abouts are you, I would like to see the car as soon as possible.

To be fair though yours is an A8, therefore I was allowed to envy them, but usually only for their fuel economy.

Ranj, does it have Bose sound?
